PAT Testing
PAT Testing is an essential part of Health & Safety and therefore a priority in the workplace.
In Relation to the ‘ELECTRICITY AT WORK REGULATIONS 1989’ which requires that electrical equipment with the potential to cause injury is maintained in a safe working order. PAT Testing is the process of testing & inspecting your equipment so that it is fit for purpose & protects everybody from harm.

A Collection of Heat Damaged Plugs. A common Find for us & in almost all cases still in use by the customer.
Our engineer came across this extension powering a high wattage appliance & was still in use when we found it.
Fortunately our engineer was experienced enough to isolate the power before attempting to unplug this unit. Still in use, the plug pins had melted into the socket.
This heat lamp was in use with multiple live conducting parts exposed.
This laptop Charger was still in use with badly damaged sheathing & cores exposed.
This customer was still using her laptop charger that her rabbit had chewed. Luckily only the earth core had been exposed.
